IAgrE promoted and ran a Young Engineers' Competition for many years aimed at students in both Secondary School and Further Education colleges. Th ecompetition was sponsored by the Institution, the Douglas Bomford Trust, Autoguide and Bosch Rexroth.
In 2017 the competition was held at Kubota UK at their headquarters in Thame and a wonderful time was had by all who attended.

Students were asked to manufacture a remote or radio controlled vehicle that could tackle our competition track with a given set of wheels, battery and maximum dimensions.
