Professor Rickson is involved in research for Government and private sector clients, specialising in soil degradation and loss of ecosystem goods and services; Soil Quality Indicators - physical properties; and the total costs of soil degradation. At this lecture, Professor Rickson will be discussing the UK’s approach to precision agriculture and the development of the AgriTech Centres of Agricultural Innovation, and their impact on agriculture and agricultural engineering.
