Simon Pearson
Simon Pearson is Professor of Agri-Food Technology and Director of the Lincoln Institute of Agri-food Technnology. Simon leads a team of interdisciplinary scientists focussing on the development of agri-robotic, digital and AI systems for agriculture. He was CoChair of the DEFRA Automation and Robotics Review for Horticulture. He is from a farming background and spent 15 years in industry prior to joining Lincoln in 2016.
Simon serves the IAgrE on the Publications Management Committee as well as the Council.
