Raymond King

I have over 10 years engineering experience from a diverse range of products and industries including construction, aerospace and agriculture.  I have been leading the mechanical engineering team since starting at Small Robot Company in 2019.  My team has contributed to the design and manufacture of a series of agricultural robots, robotic functions and robotic platforms.

I also co-founded the IAgrE Robotics Special Interest Group and co-chaired discussions on various and diverse topics, including Safety and legislation for Autonomous systems in agricultural applications. Late in 2021 I delivered a talk to the Wrekin branch of IAgrE on the development and design process that myself and my team used to deliver Small Robot Company's first commercially viable crop scouting robot (Tom V3).

I feel excited and privileged to have the opportunity to contribute to the great work that IAgrE is doing to promote Agricultural Engineering.
