Are you qualified to apply for a CSCS card and does it benefit you

Members of IAgrE qualify for the Construction Skills Certification Scheme (CSCS) Professionally Qualified Person (PQP) card which certifies that the holder is a qualified member of an approved professional body, and has the skills and knowledge required to work on a construction site without special supervision, even if they are not typically based on the site.

This card is valid for five years.

All applicants must pass the CITB Managers and Professionals Health, Safety and Environment Test.

Applicants will need to supply proof that they hold current membership of the professional body at a level accepted by CSCS, by providing one of the following:

A membership certificate (which shows membership for the current year)

A membership card (both sides)

An up-to-date letter or email from the professional body

The above evidence must show membership for the current year.

This card cannot currently be renewed and once expired must be applied for as a new card application.

The quickest and most convenient way to apply for a CSCS card is via the Official site for the

Construction Skills Certification Scheme application service.

The CSCS web site recommend that you create an account by visiting Applying for cards and follow the steps on the screen.
