Mike Whiting

Mike is a professional mechanical engineer which has been exposed to all sectors of mechanical and agricultural engineering throughout his career to date. This includes high volume automated plant, forestry, food processing, construction and machinery associated with the livestock and arable sectors. The result is he can discuss design principals with engineers and challenge them on their effectiveness to ensure safety and efficiency throughout their life cycle. With clients based from North America and throughout Europe, the ‘learning experience’ is ongoing.

The IAgrE is a people organisation and so much information can be obtained from meeting up at events and via seminars. As Secretary of the Western Branch it’s a pleasure to support the local members with an interesting and diverse programme of visits and speakers.
