Dr Karen Rial-Lovera is a Senior Lecturer in Agriculture at Nottingham Trent University. She graduated as Agricultural Engineer and holds an MSc in Agriculture and Forestry Research and a PhD in Crop Systems.
Her current research focuses on crop-soil interactions looking at how soil management and tillage systems affect soil health and crop productivity. She has previously worked in agricultural development in developing countries and has led research in sustainable intensification with the adoption of agri-tech technologies for smallholder farmers.
