A Fellow of the Institution of Agricultural Engineers (IAgrE), Graham has been fully active in the sphere of agricultural engineering since being able to swing a big hammer, from hand-held devices for the agricultural crop trials industry right through to large scale commercial farming machinery and everything in between.
Joining IAgrE as a student at Writtle Agricultural College, and progressing to local branch office holder. Currently, Graham chairs his local branch and sits on a range of IAgrE national committees, including Executive and Membership committees.
Year 2000 saw a career shift to engineering education and training, currently working at Harper Adams University, via an enjoyable two-year sabbatical in the motor industry. In his role, Graham delivers education and training to engineers and agriculturalists in the spheres of design and operation of machinery and infrastructure for effective and efficient use, with consideration of environmental impacts, such as, watercourse pollution and soil health.
As an Incorporated Engineer (IEng) registrant and the ninth Registered Environmental Practitioner (REnvP), Graham is an advocate of professional status at all levels, frequently mentoring and supporting applicants.
