The theme of SIMA 2017 is "Being a farmer in 10 years” and it will be presented from 4 main angles:
- Digital: farming jobs in a digital age -
- Robotics: tomorrow, a driverless tractor?
- Ecological economics
- Genomics
This theme will be declined through a series of animations, including a competition for future graduates of French and International agricultural schools to share their vision of the agriculture of the future, a start-up village, an innovation gallery focusing on the winners of the SIMA innovation awards , a special focus on Africa, as well as a special event dedicated to dealers, distributors and importers.
