Confessions of a test engineer - Richard Robinson
The Western Branch welcomes Richard Robinson to present his experiences and challenges as an agricultural test engineer.
Operational use of balers and combines in his youth acted as the catalyst for Richard to become the first engineering trainee at New Holland.
Passport stamps in this role covered Europe, Africa, New Zealand and Australia.
Following involvement with the Deutz Fahr business, a big leap into self-employment took hold with the establishment of Autoguide Equipment. The stable businesses supplying pickup-hitches and mower decks has now extended into supporting the renewable energy and amenity sectors.
Richard's IAgrE's badges include President, Hon Fellow and Trustee of the Douglas Bomford Trust. Regardless of your experience to date, Richard's presentation will undoubtedly add value to your knowledge, understanding and thought processes.
There will also be a presentation after Richard's talk of the IAgrE Team Achievement Award to Lackham College team members for their commitment to student development.
