The Branch Committee has met by Zoom on a couple of occasions to discuss the possibility of holding meetings during the current Covid19 pandemic. Much as we would like to hold face to face meetings, our conclusion remains that it would not be wise to hold such meetings at the present time.
However hopefully, like us, you are missing the chat and stimulus of technical meetings and so we intend to arrange a few virtual Zoom meetings over the Winter months.
To start this off our Past Chairman, Gary Connolly, who now works for ESB has agreed to give us a presentation on "Developing an Offshore Wind Farm". This will be hosted on Zoom commencing at 8.00 pm on Tuesday 20 October 2020. Details and the joining link are provided to members in NI or by request from Ian below.
