The organisers have negotiated with the hosts and they have agreed to allow a maximum of 20 visitors as they will now have 2 guides.
Therefore it will be strictly first come first serve for members only.
This will need to be confirmed by email so branch members cannot just just turn up on the night.
There will be a further announcement when we have got to the limit.
Programme
The 38MW Sleaford Renewable Energy Plant has been in commercial operation since September 2014. It generates enough electricity to power 65,000 homes using sustainable fuel sources, saving 50,000 tonnes of CO2 per annum thus helping the UK achieve its renewable energy targets whilst bolstering the nation's energy security.
This visit will be hosted by Paul Loveday.
The hosts have asked that long sleeves, trousers and sturdy shoes/work boots be worn. They will provide the necessary PPE (or bring your own if you wish). It has also been pointed out that there are quite a lot of stairways so you will need to be reasonably fit!
The organiser for this visit is Tom Ray. Those wishing to come along please respond by 4 September 2024 to Tom and copy David Yates. Tom's contact details are email: [[email protected]](mailto:[email protected]) phone: 07785 979958
