Presentation by Tom Jewers of the Small Robot Company
Tom is a graduate of Harper Adams and is now conservationist arable farmer and contractor. Tom has a wide range of experience in minimum till and robotic farming and now farms locally at Rattlesden near Bury St Edmunds.
Small Robot Company is reimagining farming with robotics and artificial intelligence. Their vision is to make food production sustainable, reducing farming’s impact on the environment and increasing farm outputs globally. Their farmbots Tom, Dick and Harry will plant, feed and weed arable crops autonomously, with minimal waste.
This will be a great opportunity to learn about the future of agricultural engineering and the advances that are now being realised.
