The Society for the Environment (SocEnv) has today unveiled its new Strategy to 2045, setting out a long-term vision for strengthening the role of trusted environmental professionalism in shaping a sustainable future.
Building on more than two decades of championing environmental professional registration and multidisciplinary expertise, the Strategy introduces a refreshed vision, mission and values, alongside three strategic pillars: Recognition, Influence and Growth. Together, these will guide SocEnv's work over the next 20 years, helping to increase recognition of environmental professionals, strengthen engagement with policymakers and regulators, and grow the community of registered practitioners.
The Strategy also reaffirms SocEnv's commitment to acting in the public benefit through promoting professional competence, integrity and evidence-based decision making at a time of increasing environmental challenges.
