Branch member John Pedley has offered to give our Branch members a tour of the Toddington Workshops on the GWSR on Saturday 23rd July. The visit will focus specifically on locomotive maintenance and mechanical overhaul.
Members are requested to meet at the station exit from Platform 1 at 1:30. The visit will last for approx 1.5 hours
Timing allows a number of options to enjoy a steam train ride before and / or after the tour.
“Purple Timetable” will be operating on the day.
Options include an early ride to Cheltenham (10:50 or 12:10) and departing Cheltenham at 12:45 arriving Toddington 13:22.
