Melvyn’s role with the UKIA is only one element of a wide-ranging and ongoing successful career within the industry. Credits include publishing a range of books, worldwide experiences as an irrigation engineer and senior lecturer at Cranfield University. All underpinned by a Master of Science in Civil Engineering Hydraulics. With the effects of climate change now evident, we all need to ‘up our game’ regarding the availability and application of water to enable sustainable food production.
