Initial plans for Tomorrow’s Engineers Week (5-9 November 2018) have been announced, providing a unique opportunity for engineers, employers, universities and schools to showcase how engineers are on a mission to make the world a better place.
The Week will demonstrate how young people can be an engineer on a mission and turn the things they care about most into engineering careers.
This year the campaign forms part of the Year of Engineering and engineers featured will focus on topics young people care about including saving the environment, animal welfare, staying safe, health and entertainment.
Employers, professional bodies, universities, schools and individual engineers are invited to get involved to help inspire the next generation of engineers by registering for a toolkit of ideas which includes being part of our engineers on a mission campaign.

Tomorrow’s Engineers Week is delivered by EngineeringUK a not-for-profit organisation, which works with the engineering community – employers and professional institutions - to promote the vital role of engineers and engineering and to inspire the next generation.

“This year, as part of the Year of Engineering, we want to make sure that Tomorrow’s Engineers Week galvanizes hundreds of employers and professional bodies from across the engineering community to join with universities, schools and individuals in our week-long drive to inspire the next generation of engineers.”
