Dr Paul Miller receives scientific accolade from the European Society of Agricultural Engineers

 

Dr Paul Miller of Haynes, Bedfordshire, agricultural engineer and expert in all aspects of crop spraying and fertiliser application has received the 2016 EurAgEng Award of Merit for Scientific Understanding, which is a bronze statuette - a replica of the statue that stood in the main building at the Silsoe Research Institute.

The award, presented by Alastair Taylor CEO of the Institution of Agricultural Engineers, on behalf of EurAgEng, is in recognition of Dr Miller’s work and achievements in agricultural engineering and spray technology.

David Tinker, Secretary General of EurAgEng said, "This award is made to an individual for their major international contribution to the advancement of scientific understanding in engineering and related science for the benefit of agriculture, environment, industry and/or the rural sector in Europe and Dr Miller is a worthy winner."
