The IAgrE CNH Industrial Award

We are delighted to announce a new partnership for our prestigious Student Awards, CNH Industrial have kindly sponsored the Johnson New Holland Trophy Award for many years but we are now delighted to announce a new award The IAgrE CNH Industrial Award open to all students in Higher Education.  There will be an undergraduate** and a post-graduate award* made for a dissertation/thesis demonstrating innovation and practical application in the landbased industry.

The Prizes will be as follows:

• £500 – Post Graduate Prize
• £250 – Undergraduate Prize

Both winners will receive the following:

• Trophy for the University (to hold for 1 year)
• VIP Day visit to Basildon HQ (with overnight accommodation if necessary) meeting UK Manager, Plant Manager etc and a tour of the premises.
• The opportunity of Internships for excellent candidates.

*The Post Graduate Award is born from the Shepperson Memorial Trophy, initiated by the South East Midlands Branch to remember Gordon Shepperson who died suddenly in 1982, Gordon was well respected in the area of forage conservation techniques which always showed a practical approach and was of immediate importance to the agricultural industry.

** The undergraduate Award was originally the Johnson New Holland Trophy Award, set up to remember Col Philip Henry Johnson a Past President of the Institution
